Are you an experienced, energetic Flash developer? Do you create interactive ad units by day, and branded site takeover visuals, also by day? If you’re looking to work on world-class brands as part of a close-knit digital team, we’re looking to work with you.



Primary Responsibilities:

  • build and optimize custom interactive/dynamic Flash rich-media ad units (SWFs) and accompanying static assets (JPGs, GIFs)
  • debug ActionScript code in third-party provided Flash assets
  • video optimization and compression
  • create visual prototypes and demos for Sales/Marketing teams
  • adhere to production schedules and work with the Production Manager to estimate milestones
  • develop mock-ups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and visual design ideas
  • occasionally participate in “kickoff calls” with creative agencies to understand client objectives, communicate creative ideas, and evaluate technical scope of projects.

  • able to juggle multiple projects by identifying primary and secondary objectives, prioritizing time and communicating timeline to team members
  • comfortable communicating with 3rd Party APIs (Twitter, Facebook, Google Maps)



You definitely have:

  • a BFA/BS in Graphic Design, Computer Science or Interactive Design-related field
  • 3+ years of experience working with Adobe Flash/Flash IDE (in an advertising agency is a plus)
  • working knowledge of ActionScript 2
  • solid understanding of ActionScript 3 and Object-Oriented Programming
  • HTML/CSS and FTP prowess; you can embed your work in HTML and host it online without issue
  • experience loading and parsing XML and JSON



We’d love for you to have:

  • knowledge of Javascript, HTML5 (canvas) or back-end technologies (PHP/MySQL)
  • knowledge of WebGL
  • knowledge of Stage 3-D
